Every great store deserves great exposure. Here, at Our Today, we highlight Jamaican entrepreneurs making a positive mark in the small business space. We believe every good business – particularly local stores with excellent customer service, trendy products and a strong social media presence – deserves to be recognised for its quality service.

Started in June 2017, by Leon Evans, is an online store that sells handcrafted, beaded-jewellery and accessories including keyrings keychains and lanyards.

Evans has always been a creative at heart and has tried his hand at crafting since he was a child. The store began after a friend who noticed Evans’ skill at crafting jewellery, offered to pay him for a unique piece. The store name comes from a play on Evans’ first name.

Evans says he is still deciding where else he’ll be taking his business in the future but for now, he plans on sticking to booths at varying events.
