Carnival may have been in April, but the soca vibes continue this summer with the new party on the scene, Midnight Mas Carnival.
The event, set to take place at Little India, 92 Hope Road, on Saturday, July 19, 2025, is sure to have soca lovers working up a sweat. With a start time of 11 pm, it is true to its name, as partygoers will be enjoying themselves when midnight hits and into the wee hours of the morning.
The selectors slated to play at Midnight Mas Carnival are Rico the DJ and Matt Camps, both of whom are two of the most in-demand on the local soca scene.

They are expected to play everything from the well-known classics to the hottest and newest songs that are guaranteed to keep people dancing all night long.
“We want to create a space for people who really love soca music,” says promoter Aysi ‘Mordecai’ Forbes. “It is not a seasonal genre. This is something people listen to all year round and Midnight Mas Carnival is here to give them their ‘fix’ during the summer.”
Although Midnight Mas Carnival will be held weeks from now, presold tickets are already available exclusively online at www.caribtix.com/midnightmascarnival.

They are being sold on Caribtix for US$10, while admission at the gate is J$2,500. “This is the first staging,” says Forbes. “We know everyone will have a good time. With the people’s support, we’ll surely be back in 2026.”
