Social media personalities Danar ‘Dan Dan’ Royal and Kerry-Ann ‘ChineyK’ Collins have welcomed the arrival of their first child together.

Royal shared the news with his supporters on his Instagram account last night (May 7), in a heartfelt post to the mother of his child and his new born baby girl.

“It is with my greatest joy to share with you the arrival of the newest member of our family – our precious bundle of joy! Mi heart full bad bad bad…for this little miracle. When I watched @chineykpopgirl bring our baby into this world it was the most emotional moment of my life,” wrote Royal.

“From cutting the umbilical cord to holding her for the first time, feeling her tiny fingers wrap around mine, and hearing her first cry brought tears to my eyes. Our world will never be the same again, and we can’t wait to see what adventures await us as a family. My heart that was once in my chest now exists outside my body,” added the new father.

He then wrote a message to his daughter, promising to always ensure that she is surrounded by love.

“To my princess, know that you are loved beyond measure, know that you are never alone, and that our love will always surround you. We can’t wait to watch you grow into the incredible person we know you’ll become,” he continued.

Royal however did not share the name or date of birth of their daughter.

Instead, he referred to his new-born as ‘Baby Royal’. He then joked that the pair had named their child Port Royal, after the popular historical site.

Royal and Collins had first shared the news that they were expecting in November last year.

The announcement sent many on social media in a frenzy, because the pair had, for the most part, kept their relationship a secret. Though there were speculations of a relationship between the two, they were never confirmed until the announcement that they were having a child together.
