Social media sensation Natokie Anthony caught with ‘witchcraft’ items, charged in St Lucia

‘Spiritual antics’ by St Lucia native Natokie Anthony have landed him behind bars after members of the Royal St Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) conducted a raid at the rising social media sensation’s premises in Pearts Gap, Castries.

The RSLPF, in a statement today (September 16), indicated that Anthony and a woman, Amber Luan Altenor, were both taken into custody following the September 12 operation.

The two, who appeared in court this afternoon, are due to answer the charges levied against them on October 14 after respectively posting a conditional EC$1,000 bail.

Anthony, a popular ‘spiritualist’ who enjoyed tens of thousands of views during his Facebook live streams, and Altenor, were both charged for breaches of anti-occult and other import-related laws.

“On the 15th of September 2022, these two individuals were charged for being in possession of Prohibited Imports (Occult Paraphernalia) under No. 13 of Schedule 3 of Section 84 (1) and Section 118 of the Customs (Control and Management) Act Chapter 15.05 of the Revised Laws of St Lucia 2014,” the St Lucian Police advised.

In its preliminary report, the RSLPF indicated that investigators executed a warrant to search Anthony’s Pearts Gap residence for firearms, ammunition and electronics.

The RSLPF team, in conjuction with the Criminal Investigations Department based in the capital Castries, recovered several electronic item and withcraft paraphernalia.

Among the trove were a DJI Phantom 4 Pro Plus drone, an unspecified size SD card, a Note 9 smartphone, two crystal balls and an Ouija board. Police say they also seized a Holy Bible -Heritage Version, Wiccan Bible, Angle Witch Book and a Book of Shadows.
