Soleco Energy Limited has closed a strategic investment by Rubis Caribbean Holdings (RCH) to bring Soleco’s solar development and implementation expertise together with RCH’s global scale, relationships, and financial strength to accelerate the rollout of commercial and industrial solar installations across the Caribbean region.

RCH’s investment will fund Soleco’s project development activities, the deployment of Soleco’s pipeline, and its expansion across the region. RCH joins Pan Jamaica Group as the largest investor in Soleco.

Angella Rainford, CEO and founder of Soleco, commented on the partnership, saying, “We are excited to have Rubis on board as a strategic investor in our company. Both companies share a common entrepreneurial mindset, vision for the development of the renewable energy distributed generation sector in the Caribbean, and synergistic expertise to best execute this vision. We look forward to working with the Rubis team to propel Soleco’s growth.”
