

Dancehall recording artiste Grace Hamilton popularly known as Spice was bestowed with ‘The Keys to the Region’ of Florida on Friday (May 5).
The Queen of Dancehall took to her social media page on Friday to celebrate the milestone in her career with her fans.
“Besties we did it again, drop some keys below and let it be known that on the 5th of May 2023, a little poor girl from Old Braeton Portmore Jamaica created history by getting honored with The Keys to the Region signed off by 16 different Commissioners, Mayors, and Vice Mayor. Now start over and read that again slowly…God, I see what you’ve done”, she said in an Instagram post.

The God A Bless Me singer was honored in a grand ceremony held at Fort Lauderdale Marriott North in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The artist was honored for her contribution to dancehall by Vice Mayor Hon. Marian D Bolton with the support of the Consul General of Jamaica Hon. Oliver Mair, Hon. Tamara James, Hon. John Taylor, Hon. Ashira Mohammad, Hon Sarai Ray Martin, Hon. Denise Grant, Hon. Regina Martin, Hon Luke Lewis, Hon Alexandra Davis, Hon. Maxwell Chambers, Hon. Katrina Touchstone, Hon. Yvette Colbourne, Hon. Joy Smith, Hon. Morey Wrights, Hon Kicia Daniel and Hon. Mark Douglas.
Congratulations also came pouring in on social media as the singer took the opportunity to express her gratitude for receiving the reward.
