Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sports, Olivia Grange, congratulated the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) and the Bob Marley Foundation on their collaboration with Adidas to produce the newest football kits for the Jamaican teams.

“This kit is more than just a striking design; it is a powerful expression of Jamaican pride, identity, and heritage,” said Grange on her Facebook social media page.

“It tells a story that goes beyond sport, capturing the spirit of our people and the global influence of our culture,” she continued.

“As Jamaica looks ahead to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, we are confident in the team’s ability to secure qualification by winning the two crucial matches in March. The Reggae Boyz will not only be competing at the highest level but doing so in a kit that reflects the very soul of the nation,” Grange added.

“Inspired by the legendary Bob Marley, whose love for football was nearly as strong as his passion for music, this collection beautifully celebrates both his legacy and Jamaica’s rich musical heritage,” she concluded.
