Spotify’s new hub now allows users to shop for merch from their favourite musical artistes

Spotify is introducing a dedicated Merch Hub within its app where music fans can purchandise merchandise from their faourite musical artistes through their Spotify profiles.

The Merch Hub, announced on Monday, October 16, centralises all artiste merchandise and offers personalised recommendations based on user listening habits. From the Merch Hub, users can effortlessly browse the selection, click on items of interest for more details, and make purchases directly through the artiste’s Spotify store, thus integrating e-commerce and music streaming.

One of Spotify’s core missions is to support artistes to enable them to sustain themselves through their craft. This strategic move aligns with that vision by connecting listeners with opportunities to support their favourite artistes in a way that they can display their passion.
