

St Andrew native A. Driver came forward this week to claim a massive J$229 million Lotto jackpot, the first of the year.
The huge jackpot was won with lucky numbers 05, 08, 11, 17, 27, 30 drawn on August 13.
“I still can’t believe it’s real,” said the winner during the official presentation event. “I usually have a specific set of numbers that I buy but this time I bought a quick pick ticket instead. When I checked the numbers in the morning, I had to keep checking and checking to make sure my eye wasn’t fooling me! It’s still sinking in that this actually happening to me.”
The mother of multiple high school-aged children expressed her immediate priorities for the life-changing winnings.
“First thing I’m going to do is buy a car,” she explained. “But more importantly, I want to make sure my children’s education is completely covered. This money means I don’t have to worry about sending them to university when the time come.”
Stefan Miller, acting CEO of Supreme Ventures Gaming, expressed his delight at making the first Lotto mega millionaire for 2025.
