Detectives assigned to the St Ann policing division seized 200 pounds of compressed ganja during a targeted raid at dwelling house in Runaway Bay in the parish on Friday and arrested four people.

A woman is reportedly among the four people arrested concerning the seizure.

Their identities are being withheld pending further investigation.

Reports from the police are that between 4:45 am and 7:00 am, lawmen were in the area when a premises was searched. During the search, the ganja was found in one of the bedrooms.

The illegal drug has an estimated street value of JMD 2,000,000.00 dollars.
