

A 49-year-old delivery driver from St Elizabeth was arrested following the seizure of an estimated value of J$29 million in cocaine found concealed in his luggage at the Sangster International Airport.
Reports are that at about 3 pm on Thursday (June 8), a man went to the airport attempting to board a flight departing to London, England. He was stopped by detectives, and his luggage was searched. Five kilograms of cocaine was found.
The man, who is said to be from a Thornton, St Elizabeth address, is accused of breaches of the Dangerous Drugs Act.
His identity is being withheld pending further investigations.
