St Vincent’s prime minister promises ‘world-class’ health care to Vybz Kartel

St Vincent’s Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves is elated to note that Vybz Kartel is getting ‘world-class’ health care at the country’s Milton Cato Memorial Hospital (MCMC) as he undergoes treatment for his Grave disease diagnosis.

“We have an excellent team of medical professionals at MCMC! Always ready to deliver world-class services. They have received high commendation from Vybz Kartel and his team after his visit. #love #life #happiness #greatness #ThankYou #thankfulgratefulblessed #blessing #success #service (sic)” Gonsalves posted on his Instagram, with a photo of the Fever artiste and his medical team.

The 48-year-old landed in St Vincent on Friday, August 16, on a private aircraft accompanied by his fiancée Sidem Ozturk and attorney Isat Buchanan.

A day later, Kartel shared an Instagram video of him working out with the caption: “First day Vincy Workout… One word…HARD! But me nuh know wah name give up! #GodistheGreatest (sic)”

The Unstoppable artiste has been sharing his ‘day in the life’ through his Instagram stories, sharing his meals, workout progress, and daily positive affirmations.

Vybz Kartel promised his fans a concert on December 31 and to focus on his health and wellness in preparation for what is gearing up to be the biggest concert in Jamaica.
