
After two weeks of ‘next-to-nothing’ decreases, Jamaican motorists and industry giants will have to contend with a sharp reversal effective today (February 16) following the latest pricing update from State-owned refinery Petrojam.
Petrojam, in its latest petroleum product index, added $3.06 on 87-octane gasolene prices, which now close at J$170.47 as of Thursday.
The cost increase was consistent for all other commonly sought products, a it is expected that retailers will add their mark-ups to the announced prices.
