The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) has lifted its suspension of trading in the shares of Junior Market company, Atlantic Hardware & Plumbing Company (AHPC).
Trading in the shares of the 105–107 Marcus Garvey Drive, Kingston, located company, resumed today, July 6, after suspending trading last week. In addition to suspending AHPC, the JSE also suspended another Junior Market company, Kintyre Holdings (Ja).
In an advisory today the JSE reports ”…in keeping with JSE’s Junior Market Rule Appendix 2, part 4 (2) (e), it has taken the decision to immediately lift the suspension of trading in the shares of AHPC. The company has submitted its December 31, 2025, Audited Financial Statements, which was due on March 31, 2026.”
The suspension of trading in the shares of AHPC and Kintyre Holdings (Ja) was taken in keeping with JSE’s Junior Market Rule Appendix 2, part 4 (2) (e), with the suspension remaining in effect pending the submission of their December 31, 2025, Audited Financial Statements, which were due on March 31, 2026.
Both companies’ submissions were at the time were 93 days overdue. The JSE Junior Market Rule Appendix 2, Part 4(2) (e) – Audited Financial Statements, which states: “companies with audited financial statements which are ninety (90) days overdue, shall have trading in their shares suspended until the reports are submitted to the Exchange.”
The suspension of Kintyre remains in effect, as its Audited Financial Statement is still forthcoming.
