Visual, Creative, Cultural & Culinary Arts set to collide
Artists, Photographers, Ceramists and Authors will join 40 local businesses to transform the Legacy Suite and Terrace of The Jamaica Pegasus Hotel for the third staging of Suga Lifestyle’s Art & Lifestyle Expo on Sunday, July 26, 2026,
The one‑day event runs from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and offers a Pre-Emancipation shopping experience showcasing made‑in‑Jamaica products across Art, Fashion, Food and Lifestyle. Curated to celebrate the creative and cultural industries, the Expo will feature apparel, accessories, personal care, home accents, literature and culinary offerings.
“We aim to demonstrate how artistic inspiration can seamlessly integrate into everyday lifestyle,” explains CEO of Suga Lifestyle, Gabrielle Burgess, who adds, “this year we continue to inspire, educate and reignite a passion for the Arts, Creativity and Culture across generations.” The show, known for its classy representation of Jamaican culture, will present live music, poetry and readings, including appearances by poets Rica G. and Ann‑Margaret Lim; readings from award‑winning author Dr. Sharma Taylor.
Live performances
There will be performances by Diane Riley and Francine Sinclair Jackson and a feature by 15‑year‑old Deanashaé Delisser. Terrace and garden programming (ticketed) will include Yoga for Charity with Bianca Kern; morning beverage activations courtesy of Monymusk Rums and a cool‑down moment from Ayrtons Distributors; a Paint & Sip in the Gardens hosted by Painterly Palettes; and an intimate Unscripted Sundays storytelling session by YAAD Bridge Entertainment honouring Fae Ellington.
The Emancipendence shopping experience is endorsed by the Jamaica Business Development Corporation, The MSME Alliance and the business community. The event is sponsored by JABLUM Coffee, Jamaica Business Development Corporation, Monymusk Rums, Ayrtons Distributors, SLEEK Jamaica, National Baking Company, The MSME Alliance and Lady Bee Mixology.
Suga Lifestyle Expo has featured artisans including Ettenio and Hyrie Wellness, both noted for recent representation of Jamaica on international trade missions to Ireland and the United Kingdom. Admission to the Expo is free and family‑friendly.
