One Park Restaurant and Lounge opened its doors last Sunday (December 22) for an exclusive and intimate lounge experience, giving a luxurious preview of what’s to come when the highly anticipated venue officially opens its doors in February/March 2025.
As the sun set, decorating the sky in hues of gold and pink, the evening offered unparalleled sophistication and indulgence, blending the panoramic views of Kingston with an exquisite fusion steakhouse menu.
Guests were treated to an elegant atmosphere featuring one of Jamaica’s best DJs, Bad Gyal Marie, specialty cocktails and a curated tasting menu highlighting the restaurant’s approach to fine dining.
The lounge experience served a taste of the cuisine and an upscale ambience that guests can expect when One Park officially opens. Fusing the artistry of fine steak with Caribbean-inspired flavours, the venue will offer a unique dining experience, where every dish tells a story of culinary creativity and cultural fusion.
Addressing the patrons, co-owner Wayne Greenaway explained, “The concept of One Park started in our backyard in Toronto during COVID.”
“It is about putting together an opportunity for the Jamaican community to come and experience what we’ve developed over the past three or four years. We’ve focused on making the price point reasonable, so those of you who want to try something different, we got you (sic). Those of you who are experienced steak or lamb eaters, we got you too,” Greenaway added.
With an emphasis on quality, innovation and style, One Park promises to deliver an exceptional dining experience and is set to become the city’s most sought-after dining and social destination.
