Super early bird tickets for the most anticipated annual food festival in the Caribbean, the Jamaica Food and Drink Festival (JFDF) 2022, are now available exclusively for Visa cardholders to purchase at discounted rates.

Emerging from the fog of COVID-19, JFDF 2022 is coming in hot with five live culinary events: Pork Palooza, Vintage, Crisp, Picante and Brunch; that intend to titillate your senses over five days, between October 26 and 30, in Kingston, Jamaica.

JFDF 2022 will be launched on Friday, September 23 at the Jamaica Food and Drink Kitchen in St Andrew.

JFDF patrons, who are also Visa cardholders, will have first dibs on this international award-winning culinary event, as Visa continues as the festival’s presenting partner.

Super early bird tickets are now on offer exclusively to Visa cardholders for the festival’s three all-inclusive events: Crisp, Picante and Pork Palooza. Organisers are encouraging all Visa cardholders to take advantage of this incredible deal now, as interest in JFDF 2022 is already surpassing that of previous stagings.

“We are thrilled by the transformation of Kingston into an Epicuren epicentre and the incredible showcase of local gastronomic talents,” says Waldemar Cordero, head of marketing in the Caribbean and Latin America at Visa.

“This year, we are excited to be providing patrons at each event with unique and innovative culinary experiences. We also wanted to offer our new customers a special treat and so, starting September 16, they will be able to purchase super early bird tickets at a discounted rate further enabling them to experience the adventure of the Jamaica Food and Drink Festival,” Cordero said.

Cordero added that Visa’s partnership with the Jamaica Food and Drink Festival has been a remarkable one, not only for our consumers and for Visa, but also for the JFDF which has won the awards ‘Best Culinary Festival in the Word 2021’ and ‘Best Culinary Festival in the Caribbean 2021’.

Nasma Mohammed-Chin, festival director of JFDF, said that patrons can expect highly curated events featuring innovative culinary dishes with top-shelf liquor and entertainment over the course of the highly anticipated 2022 staging.

“We’re a world-class, award-winning food and drink festival. We’re the only one in Jamaica and we create the most amazing flavours and vibe Kingston receives at any event,” Mohammed-Chin said.
