Supreme Ventures Foundation (SVF) has committed $1 million to the Amateur Swimming Association of Jamaica (ASAJ) to support Team Jamaica’s participation in the 2025 Goodwill Swimming Games. This year’s event will take place from August 15 to 17 in Barbados.

The Goodwill Swimming Games is a celebrated regional competition that brings together rising swimming stars from across the Caribbean. It promotes youth development, regional unity and sportsmanship, while offering invaluable international exposure for young athletes.

Speaking at the launch at the National Stadium pool on Tuesday, July 29, Chloleen Daley-Muschett, AVP of Public Relations and Corporate Affairs at Supreme Ventures Foundation, emphasised the importance of supporting sports development.

“SVF is proud to play a role in the journey of Jamaica’s young swimmers. We believe that sport is a powerful tool for transformation, instilling discipline, teamwork, and confidence. This sponsorship reflects our commitment to creating opportunities for youth and strengthening communities through meaningful partnerships,” said Daley-Muschett.

Hilary Brown Nixon, Vice President for Swimming at the ASAJ, expressed sincere appreciation for SVF’s timely contribution.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Supreme Ventures Foundation as a sponsor for this year’s Games. Their generous support will help us provide the resources our athletes need to compete at their best and represent Jamaica with pride. It’s more than a financial contribution, it’s a vote of confidence in our young athletes and the future of swimming in Jamaica,” said Nixon.

The $1 million sponsorship will support essential aspects of Jamaica’s participation, including airfare, accommodations, meals, team gear, and venue-related costs. It also reflects SVF’s broader focus on national development through education, sport, and community upliftment, an ethos echoed in their support of football, horse racing, and other grassroots programmes.

With several Caribbean countries expected to compete, the 2025 Goodwill Swimming Games will showcase the region’s finest young swimmers, and Jamaica’s role will be amplified by SVF’s continued investment in youth empowerment.

The donation underscores SVF’s ongoing mission to empower youth through sport and education. As Team Jamaica prepares to make a splash on the regional stage, SVF’s contribution is a powerful reminder that when youth are supported, the entire nation moves forward.
