Swifties must be ecstatic as Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department, debuted at number one, making this her 14th number one album!

The Tortured Poets Department debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 with 2.61 million album-equivalent units, making it the second-biggest debut to date, right behind Adele’s 25. Swift also broke the record for the most streams in one week, with 891.37 million.

The chart statistics show that Swift has now surpassed Whitney Houston, Janet Jackson and Stevie Wonder for the most number ones on the Hot 100.
