Fitness enthusiasts Peter Lloyd, Tari Lovell and Senna Summerbell have embarked on opening The Hot Box, Jamaica’s first Scandinavian-style sauna and ice bath rituals in the capital.

Located on East Kings House Road, near Barbican Beach in St Andrew, Hot Box is the first centre dedicated to contrast therapy in Jamaica, using sauna and ice bath rituals to provide a world-class recovery experience.

Hot Box Jamaica, an adults-only experience, is an expansion of the brand founded in Ireland in 2021 and is the first location outside of the Emerald Isle.

High-performing professionals, elite athletes and wellness enthusiasts now have the opportunity to reset, recover and reconnect while reaping the myriad benefits of contrast therapy—from muscle recovery, pain relief and improved circulation—to reduced inflammation, stronger immunity, mental clarity and stress relief.
