Scope Caribbean, a user-generated influencer and talent platform, is the newest extension of one of the region’s leading creative agencies and production companies, The LAB.

Scope Caribbean Limited, a newly incorporated wholly-owned subsidiary of The LAB, Scope Caribbean will launch and host an online platform, through which producers and agencies worldwide will have access to existing and emerging talent across the region for production campaigns.

The online platform also enables persons to register online for inclusion in the Scope Caribbean database.

“As a part of our strategy we have recognized the need to also provide services for influencers and brands seeking to capitalize on Influencer Marketing. Scope Caribbean is in response to that need and is strategically geared towards completely transforming the way influencers and brands exist together in the space,” stated The LAB CEO, Kimala Bennett.

Kimala Bennett, managing director of The LAB.

The LAB, known for managing some of the region’s largest brand campaigns, has also partnered with Public Relations Brand Strategist, and Garrick Communications Founder, Naomi Garrick, to execute on the strategic imperatives of Scope Caribbean.

This collaboration will see experts collectively with over 25 years in the creative industry who have worked with numerous local and international brands and talent on a large scale to produce some of the region’s most notable campaigns and partnerships.

“Influencer marketing is a growing billion-dollar industry worldwide and for a long time, local & regional players in the space have had many challenges in streamlining in order to enjoy the numerous benefits the space has to offer. The same issue runs true for local talents including; actors, hosts, models and artistes. These challenges include not being able to find opportunities for jobs, struggling to choose the right influencer for campaigns and overall, a lack of resources to really track and measure analytics and ROI in real-time. This is where Scope Caribbean comes in, through this platform, we are able to provide opportunities for all the players,” stated Garrick.

Scope Caribbean will be launched in a phased approach with the current focus around an aggressive recruitment of emerging and existing talent that is, persons interested in being in an advertisement and influencers from across the region to sign up on Scope Caribbean and join the growing community for potential opportunities to be selected for upcoming projects and brand activations.

This ongoing recruitment will support the second phase of the launch roll out, which will now allow local and international producers to have access to the database for the selection of talent from across the region for casting opportunities.
