It has been a little over a decade since the very popular reality series, The Real Housewives commenced.

The show has seen great success, so far having 10 franchises under its belt.

Executive Producer Andy Cohen on Monday, October 11, in an interview on the Today show, announced the 11th city and franchise of the reality series.

The Real Housewives of Dubai, the franchise’s newest addition, has been given the greenlight by the US-based cable network Bravo and is set to be released some time in 2022. This will be Bravo’s very first international release.

In a press release, the executive producer shared that “everything’s bigger in Dubai and I couldn’t be more excited to launch Bravo’s first international ‘Housewives’ series in a city I’ve been fascinated by for years, with an outstanding group of friends as our guides”.

While the cast has not yet been revealed, the show, like its counterparts, is set to follow the lives of a group of women, their relationships, careers and the day-to-day activities within their world.

Viewers will have the opportunity to see the very popular and beautiful Dubai, whose United Arab Emirates will be the show’s backdrop. The press release also promises that viewers will also get the chance to glimpse the jaw-dropping sites and the wild nightlife scenes in Dubai.
