The Chinese brand BYD has released its newest hybrid plug-in pickup in Jamaica. The BYD Shark 6.  This vehicle will satisfy the needs for both off-road adventures and your eco-friendly goals.

The Shark comes with a high-power hybrid 1-litre turbo engine, working with the BYD blade-battery for 321kw of power. This gives the truck a 2500kg towing capacity. Their off-road capabilities come in the form of their vehicle dynamic control, auto-hold, hill hold control and hill descent control.

The vehicle boasts an AWD plug-in architecture. It also comes with an advanced driver assistance system, Over the Air (OTA) updates, and 5.6 intelligent touch screen and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster.

Safety for the whole family was incorporated in its design. The Shark incorporates 7 SRS airbags at the front, sides and on the side curtains. Child presence detection, ISOFIX child restraint anchorage pint and front and back cross traffic alert with braking.

It comes with practical features like the portable charging cable, wireless phone charger, USB-C and USB-A, V@L functionality and a 12-speaker Dynaudio sound system.
