

American actress Shelley Duvall, known for her role as Wendy Torrance in Stanly Kubrck’s iconic cinematic masterpiece ‘The Shining‘, died today (July 11).
Duvall reportedly died in her sleep of complications from diabetes at her home in Blanco, Texas.
Duvall shot to fame for her portrayal of distinctive, often eccentric, characters.
She was the recipient of several accolades, including a Cannes Film Festival Award and a Peabody Award and nominations for a British Academy Film Award and two Primetime Emmy Awards.
The Hollywood Reporter first reported Duval’s death.
