In a world of stiff competition with a looming recession on the horizon, two public relations agencies are joining forces to bridge the gap between Jamaica and the global diaspora.
After two and a half years in operation, The Storyteller Agency.Co has partnered with Jamaican-founded, now US-based full service PR agency- Next PR Solutions.
“Cross-agency collaboration is the best way for us to offer more services to clients as we continue to grow our portfolio. The modern-day agency is no longer one size fits all. It’s dynamic and more agile, so with this partnership, we’re tapping into the US market to help our clients raise their profile and build visibility to a wider audience,” said Kesi Gardner, CEO of The Storyteller Agency.Co.
FOCUS MOVED INTO SERVING LUXURY MARKET
This is particularly optimal for the hospitality industry as many of the boutique hotels and villas find it challenging to get recognition internationally.
Gardner’s background has been in the field of traditional advertising, honing her skills and working on million-dollar advertising and PR campaigns. However, since starting The Storyteller Agency.Co in 2020, the focus moved into serving the luxury market for the hospitality and financial service industries through the ‘art’ of storytelling.
As for Christopher Yemi MacGregor, CEO of Next PR Solutions, his company ethos has also been “Discovering what’s new and creating what’s NEXT” within the music, lifestyle, spirits, travel and entertainment industries. His expertise ranges over the span of a decade of representing or incubating brands such as: KingstonBelle.com, Bottega Jamaica, Caribbean Dreams, Stay Golden Cosmetics NYC, & Bijoux Jamaica as well as artistes and media personalities such as: Kaci Fennell, Naomi Cowan, Zac Jone$, Mink JO, Gabrielle Davis (Dj Gabby), and Marcy Chin, to name a few. He would like to continue maintaining ties to Jamaica as he expands his agency with satellites across the US.
“We realise that even though we’re operating out of New York now, we still need a base in Jamaica. This partnership will allow us to serve our clientele back home as well as provide international media opportunities for our clientele to cross promote in an impactful way, globally,” said MacGregor.
