President of the United States Donald Trump, speaking after signing an MOU with Iran to bring the military conflict to an end and open the Strait of Hormuz, said as far as he is concerned, there are no limits to his power.

During an interview with U.S. news outlet Axios, a reporter asked the President, “ What have you learned about not just the exercise of power but the limits on your power as a result of the conflict?”

President Trump answered: “ There are no limits. I haven’t learnt that lesson yet; I know there are. But there are no limits. We defeated Iran totally and militarily. Who else could have done a blockade like that?”

Some have expressed concerns about President Trump’s increasingly authoritarian manner and his unwillingness to get the OK from Congress on a number of issues.

President Trump counters that nothing will prevent him from making America great again and establishing U.S.  dominance in the hemisphere that contains the Caribbean, South and Central America, North America and Canada.

Many Caribbean leaders are careful not to incur the President’s wrath and are quick to do his bidding.

Emboldened by strikes on both Venezuela and Iran this year, President Trump declared he will do things his way and not be checked.

Speaking at the Group of Seven Summit held in France last week, President Trump said, “I am the boss” before taking his seat.

Americans are fully supportive of Trump and his manner of projecting strength and the virtues of capitalism. They voted for him as their President twice, giving him the mandate to change America and establish its primacy. He told America what he would do, and he is doing it with their approval.

Americans love winners, and they see Trump as the ultimate winner. He is the people’s champion.

President Trump said, “ He who saves his country does not violate any law,”  and reposted “ He is the most powerful person that has ever walked this planet.”

But more telling is a post by David King, which was reposted by President Trump, which read: “  Donald Trump is without question the most powerful man that the planet has ever known by a long way. Historically powerful people were characterised by brutal conquest and the fear that they instilled in the population that came under their influence. Common names that would come to mind are Alexander the Great, the Caesars, Genghis Khan, Attila the Hun, Tamburlaine, Napoleon and more recently Hitler, Mao and Stalin.

“The overwhelming difference between each of the above when compared with President Trump is their lack of global reach. Their power was limited to restricted local areas. They had nowhere near the control over modern logistics, manpower, technology and the global economic muscle that President Trump can enforce.
