Jamaica has once again cemented its reputation as a leader in luxury travel, with three local hotels earning coveted spots among the Top 10 in the US and Caribbean in the Condé Nast Traveller 2025 Readers’ Choice Awards.

The highly respected annual list ranked Jamaica Inn in Ocho Rios at #4, followed by S Hotel Montego Bay at #5.

Making a historic debut, the S Hotel Kingston joined the top tier at #7—signalling a transformative moment for Jamaica’s capital and its rise as a vibrant destination for both business and leisure visitors.

Now in its 37th year, the Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards are regarded as the benchmark of excellence in global travel. The rankings are based on the votes of hundreds of thousands of readers worldwide who highlight destinations, hotels, and experiences that consistently deliver outstanding service, distinctive design, and authentic hospitality.

S Hotel’s dual recognition represents both continuity and growth for the brand. The flagship S Hotel Montego Bay has maintained its Top 10 status each year since opening in 2019, while S Hotel Kingston’s debut marks a milestone in the capital’s tourism renaissance.

CEO Christopher Issa described the achievement as a proud moment for both the company and the city.

He also expressed pride that S Montego Bay remained in the Top 10 since opening and thrilled that S Kingston earned its first recognition, reflecting Kingston’s revival as a tourism and cultural hub.

Issa added that more visitors are discovering Kingston’s vibrant art, music, culinary scene, and creative energy, proving that “luxury in Jamaica is not just by the sea—it’s also in the city.”

Meanwhile, this latest recognition extends the enduring legacy of the Jamaica Inn, an Ocho Rios gem long celebrated as one of the Caribbean’s premier boutique resorts. Last featured on the list in 2023, the property remains synonymous with timeless charm and personalised service.

Managing Director Kyle Mais expressed his gratitude, emphasising the dedication of the resort’s team.

“We are delighted to be recognised by Condé Nast Traveler’s Readers’ Choice Awards once again,” Mais said.

He said the award honours the team’s dedication, noting that while Jamaica Inn’s setting and history are exceptional, it’s the staff’s warmth and spirit that truly bring it to life. He also praised the guests, whose loyalty and appreciation continue to inspire the team to deliver unforgettable experiences year after year.
