Dancehall sensation Tifa has resurfaced with a new jingle for the Courts’ 65th anniversary which is being celebrated island-wide on Wednesday (May 15).
Courts kicked off the launch event for its month-long celebrations on May 1, followed by islandwide church services on May 5 and free Krispy Kreme doughnuts for the first 65 customers at all Krispy Kreme locations islandwide on Monday.
Courts Jamaica — the leading furniture, appliances, and electronics retailer in Jamaica — announced that it is thrilled to announce the release of a new jingle in celebration of its 65th anniversary in partnership with Tifa and comedian Johnny Daley.
Produced by the talented Phillip Myers of Circa 11, the Courts 65 jingle captures the essence of Courts’ longstanding presence in the Jamaican market and its commitment to providing quality products to its customers.
In a recent interview, Tifa expressed her excitement about being asked to voice the jingle.
Like the average Jamaican who is “starting out life”, Tifa said the jingle was a “no-brainer” for her to record, given that she got her first set of appliances and furniture from Courts.
“When I got my first big artiste cheque, I spent it all at Courts and bought everything needed for my new home away from mummy, a Mabe fridge, stove, microwave, and Sony surround sound, and everything still works,” Tifa said.
