After months on the sidelines, Tiger Woods is ready to step back into competition for the first time since undergoing back surgery in October.
The one-time major champion is expected to tee off for Jupiter Links on Tuesday night in Florida, with the TGL Finals hanging in the balance.
His return was revealed shortly after Jupiter Links fell 6-5 in the opening match of the best-of-three series, putting added pressure on the team heading into the next showdown. Woods, who is also part of the league’s ownership group, last appeared in TGL action over a year ago and has not played on the PGA Tour since The Open Championship in 2024.
The road back has been far from easy. Before his back procedure, Woods was already working his way back from a ruptured Achilles suffered in 2025. Now, all eyes will be on how his body responds under competitive conditions, especially with The Masters just weeks away. Whether he will feature at Augusta remains uncertain, but his return to the course this week is a major step forward.
