Emerging dancehall entertainer Tishana is confident that her new single Best Friend Girl will provide her with the musical breakthrough that she has craved since she was 11 years old.

Produced by Troyton Music on the Perfect Timing Riddim, Best Friend Girl was released on all digital platforms, including Itunes, Amazon and Spotify, on September 24 and has since enjoyed generous airplay on local stations like ZIP FM, FAME FM, IRIE FM, Radio Jamaica 94 FM and SUNCITY FM.

The response from local stations is what has boosted her confidence that a breakthrough is not far away.

“I’ve spent a lot of years working on my craft. I’ve paid my dues and now it’s my time to shine,” she said. “It’s finally happening and I’m thankful to my creator for blessing me with the talent to sing. I’m also grateful to everyone who has supported my career over the years.

“I’m pleased with the response my new single is getting. I’m grateful to all the DJs who are playing it. It’s doing well locally, and it’s also picking up overseas.”

Tishana also has several other singles enjoying rotation locally and abroad, including Tackle Me, Jah Jah Warrior, Wish You Be There For Me and Ordinary Girl.

The vivacious entertainer, who turns 22 in November, is also gearing up to drop another hot new single called Money Molly Brown. She expects the song to be released in the near future on the Nyah Bless label.
