Showers are expected across sections of northern parishes with isolated thunderstorms likely across northeastern parishes this morning.

There will also be windy conditions.

This afternoon and evening, scattered showers and thunderstorms are predicted across sections of most parishes but especially southern and eastern parishes. Nighttime showers and thunderstorms are likely across eastern and southcentral parishes, mostly cloudy elsewhere.

An area of low pressure is expected to gradually develop with a high chance of tropical cyclone development within the next two days, moving generally northward across the central and western Caribbean. Regardless of development, cloudy conditions are expected along with widespread showers and thunderstorms across Jamaica, beginning late Sunday through to Wednesday. Strong gusty winds are also expected during the period.
