Parishes across the island are expected to experience widespread showers and thunderstorms.   

Tonight, lingering showers and thunderstorms are expected across eastern parishes.

A dissipating cold front just east of Jamaica is expected to further weaken throughout today, then a broad trough is projected to develop across the central and western Caribbean, and an area of low pressure across the southwestern Caribbean Sea.

Both systems are expected to remain for the next few days and generate unstable weather conditions across the Island. Expect cloudy conditions with periods of showers and thunderstorms primarily across eastern parishes through to midweek.
