A trough is expected to remain across the island for the next several days.

  • This morning, scattered showers and thunderstorms across sections of eastern parishes, while other areas remain under partly cloudy skies.
  • This afternoon, conditions are expected to be cloudy with showers and thunderstorms across sections of most parishes, especially southern and north-eastern parishes. Additionally, a gush of wind is expected in northern eastern parishes.
  • This evening, expect lingering isolated showers and thunderstorms across sections of north-eastern parishes, while other areas will experience partly cloudy skies.

  • Morant Bay: Anticipate intermittent showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.
  • Kingston: The day will start with a cloudy morning, giving way to afternoon thundershowers.
  • Half-Way Tree: Similar to Kingston, with a cloudy morning followed by afternoon thundershowers.

South Central Region

  • Portmore: Look out for a cloudy morning and afternoon thundershowers.
  • Spanish Town: The day will commence with a cloudy morning and transition into afternoon thundershowers.
  • May Pen: Expect thunderstorms in the afternoon.
  • Mandeville: Afternoon thunderstorms are forecasted.

South Western Region

  • Santa Cruz: Brace for afternoon thunderstorms.
  • Black River: Afternoon thunderstorms are expected.

  • Falmouth:  In the afternoon mostly cloudy and windy conditions are expected.

North Western Region

  • Montego Bay: Prepare for mostly cloudy skies and windy conditions in the evening.
  • Lucea: The afternoon is likely to be mostly cloudy and windy.

Friday: Morning showers and isolated thunderstorms across eastern and north-central parishes. Isolated afternoon showers and thunderstorms are mainly expected across southern parishes. A brisk wind is expected in the northern parishes.

Sunday: Isolated showers and thunderstorm across north-western parishes, partly cloudy elsewhere.
