

Among reggae legends and a Marley debutant, pioneering group Toots and the Maytals have secured their third Grammy award on Sunday (March 14) in the Best Reggae Album category.
Toots and the Maytals, through the August 2020 effort Got To Be Tough bested Buju Banton, Skip Marley, The Wailers and Maxi Priest to claim the prestigious award.
The last times the iconic troupe were in 2008 with The Harder They Come, and 2005 with True Love.
Toots Hibbert will be collecting the award posthumously having passed on September 12 at age 77.

The Gargamel vied with critically acclaimed album Upside Down 2020; Maxi Priest received his second-ever Grammy nod with It All Comes Back to Love; The Wailers released One World; while Skip Marley made his Grammy nom debut through Higher Place.
