Top Caribbean producer Andrea McFarlane Sweeney joins new REMAX Elite Realty

Dr Winston Adams, founder and group executive chairman of the UCC Group, has announced the appointment of Andrea McFarlane Sweeney, widely recognised as one of the Caribbean’s top realtors, as the new qualifying broker/compliance manager at REMAX Elite Realty (RME Realty), formerly REMAX Elite, effective August 2.

McFarlane Sweeney has also been appointed on the new REMAX Elite Realty Board of Directors.

McFarlane Sweeney formerly worked at Century 21 Heave Ho Properties for approximately a decade where she won a range of top awards including the company’s most prestigious: Top Producers Award, Centurion Award, Masters Emerald Award and Diamond Award. 

She is noted to be one of the top producing agents in the Caribbean Territory by Century 21 for at least five times between 2014-2020.

With a strong network of clients, she works with a high degree of integrity and has been recognised as one of the top realtors in Jamaica, regionally and internationally.

McFarlane Sweeney has used her vast wealth of knowledge and financial background to assist clients and other agents in making decisions when selling, purchasing, leasing or making investments. 

She comes to the new and expanding RME Realty with credentials in finance and management, having previously worked as Chief Operations Officer (COO) of the Jamaica Livestock Association Limited; Assistant Controller, Gateway American Bank of Fort Lauderdale and as a Management professional and consultant for more than 15 years.  She also serves on the boards of Global Travel Service Limited and the Jamaica Livestock Association Limited.

A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) (inactive status), registered in the United States, and a hands-on manager with budget development and management, financial and strategic planning and Profit & Loss Management, McFarlane Sweeney holds sales and a real estate and a broker licence for Jamaica as well as a sales and real estate licence in Florida (inactive status). She holds both an MBA with specialisation in Finance and a Bachelor of Accounting Degree from the University of Florida and a B.Sc Degree, in Physics and Chemistry from The University of the West Indies. She has demonstrated the ability to complete projects using her strong leadership skills and signature team building approach in a timely manner. Her real passion and goal is to help her agents fulfill their true potential.
