A town hall meeting is being convened for Sunday, September 24, to discuss the job description, codes of conduct and performance standards for parliamentarians.

The meeting will be held at the Douglas Orane Auditorium, Wolmer’s Boys’ School, located at National Heroes Circle, Kingston, starting at 3:00 p.m.

Members of the public are invited to attend the meeting and share their opinions on the documents, which can be found on the Parliament’s website, www.japarliament.gov.jm, under ‘Publications’.

A joint select committee of Parliament has been mandated to consider a job description, codes of conduct, and performance standards for parliamentarians and submit a full report to parliament with recommendations.
