American private aircraft operator Tradewind Aviation is appointing professional golfer Darren Clarke as its newest brand ambassador.

Beginning this summer, Clarke now represents the luxury aviation brand flying both private charter and scheduled service on Tradewind’s popular Marsh Harbour to Florida routes.

When he’s not competing on the PGA TOUR Champions, Clarke calls The Abacos home. A current resident of The Abaco Club, a private luxury residential and sporting community on Winding Bay in The Bahamas, Clarke trains and hosts golf events on-site and enjoys the world-class saltwater flats fly fishing and sport-fishing opportunities the region affords. The destination’s world-class golf facilities, relaxed island lifestyle, and fast access to the southeastern United States make it an ideal setting for both his personal life and ongoing professional pursuits.

A celebrated professional golfer from Northern Ireland, Clarke is renowned for his achievements on the global stage. He is best known for his victory at the 2011 Open Championship at Royal St George’s and two World Golf Championships titles, including his memorable 2000 Match Play win over Tiger Woods. With more than 20 career wins across the PGA TOUR, European Tour, and PGA TOUR Champions, Clarke has also represented Europe in five Ryder Cups and served as team captain in 2016. Most recently, Clarke added the 2022 Senior Open Championship to his already distinguished resume and remains active on the PGA TOUR Champions.

As part of the partnership, Clarke will be featured in promotional materials and will make a special appearance at a Tradewind-hosted VIP reception in Marsh Harbour. This collaboration reflects a mutual commitment to excellence and an appreciation for seamless, effortless travel.

In addition to scheduled service to Marsh Harbour and North Eleuthera from Stuart, Florida, Tradewind is expanding both routes this winter, including a new departure destination in Fort Lauderdale (FLL) starting December 11th. At that time, the airline will also debut new scheduled service to Nassau (NAS) from Stuart, further enhancing its commitment to premium, accessible travel in The Bahamas.

The convenient scheduled flights offer seamless connectivity to the Bahamas through key Florida destinations, including Witham Field in Stuart, Florida and the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. Beginning December 11, 2025, Tradewind will operate five days a week, multiple flights per day, to and from Marsh Harbour, North Eleuthera and Nassau.
