
The Jamaica Constabulary Force is advising the public of temporary road closures and traffic management arrangements in the vicinity of the St Catherine Parish Court in Spanish Town to facilitate Traffic Ticket Public Day on Wednesday, March 04.
The following roadways will be closed to vehicular traffic from 4:00 pm on Tuesday, March 03 to midnight on Thursday, March 05:
- Constitution Street
- A section of White Church Street
- A section of Manchester Street
Motorists are encouraged to use alternative routes and comply with directions given by police officers and traffic wardens deployed in the area.
Designated Parking Areas
Members of the public attending the Traffic Ticket Public Day are advised to utilise the following approved parking locations:
- St Jago Cathedral Parking Lot
- St Jago High School Throwers’ Field (located opposite the school)
- Spanish Town Prison Oval
- King Street: Paid parking operated by the Municipal Corporation Parking will be available at the St Catherine Parish Court Library Parking Area between 8:30 am and 4:00 pm.
