Traffic snarled on Port Henderson Road after fatal collision

There was a high build-up of traffic on Port Henderson Road in Portmore, St Catherine on Thursday morning (September 5) following a fatal collision which claimed the life of a female pedestrian.
The identity of the victim has not been yet revealed.
Reports are that the woman was fatally struck by a white Toyota Probox taxi. The driver of the vehicle reportedly fled the scene.
Police investigators are still currently at the scene of the accident.
