The promoted Treasure Beach FC secured their second win of the season, edging former champions Arnett Gardens 1-0, while Harbour View clipped Dunbeholden 1-0 in the double header at the Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex on Monday.

St Elizabeth-based Treasure Beach ended a five-game winless streak courtesy of an 82nd-minute penalty by Jahiem Harris.

Arnett Gardens got several opportunities to score late on but hit the bar twice in the dying minutes and were left disappointed, along with their home fans.

While Arnett Gardens remained in seventh spot on nine points, Treasure Beach climbed into eighth spot on eight points.

In the curtain raiser, a seventh-minute penalty by Trayvone Reid led Harbour View to a 1-0 win over Dunbeholden in a fairly even game.

The Stars of the East, who were winning their second game from six matches, are sitting in ninth position on eight points.

St Catherine-based Dunbeholden, which was suffering their third defeat of the campaign, are 10th with seven points.

The league will continue on Sunday, October 12, with the eight-round set of games.
