Women, regardless of their nationality, are seemingly drawn to dangerous men, and ladies across Trinidad and Tobago are fawning over one particularly tall, dark and handsome criminal.
Travis Ali, 36, otherwise known as ‘Fox’ became the centre of an intense female Facebook frenzy on Tuesday (May 4) after his mugshot was released by the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS).
It could be anyone’s guess, but among the wry smile, lush dreadlocks and his chiseled jawline, Trini women are greatly appreciative of Ali’s uniquely appealing aesthetic.
The reactions to Ali’s picture are downright shocking/hilarious as the women wonder what led such a handsome face, Trinidad’s very own ‘prison bae’, to be denied bail for illegal gun possession.
Still, armed with that knowledge, Fox was showered with lust and desire and the ladies went into overdrive in the comments.
“That smirk says, I’m gonna do it again too. He’s fine AF too,” said Janelle Duncan.
“Just doing my civic duty saving this mugshot. Yummm I mean hmmmm,” argued Modesty Blaise.
Sofiya Mandy went a step further to crown Travis ‘mugshot king’ when she commented, “This is the BEST mugshot I’ve seen! I said what I said!”
“Is it wrong to say that he has lovely eyes?” asked Imogen Johnson.
Even Trini men got in on the viral mugshot as Kerron Pierre asked perplexed, “How fox looking like he have all the ladies on lock so?”
“What a ‘sly fox’,” he added.
In the TTPS’ official statement, Ali, a labourer from the southern town of Penal, was denied bail when he appeared virtually at the Siparia Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
“TRAVIS ALI, aka ‘Fox’, who was charged with possession of a firearm and ammunition, was remanded into custody and the matter was postponed to Tuesday, May 18,” the Trinidadian police said in a Facebook post.
The official report further stated that last Friday, a team of officers executed a search warrant for firearms and ammunition at a house at Beckles Street, Penal.
Officers searched the premises, where they allegedly found a firearm, fitted with a magazine, which contained ten rounds of ammunition.
Ali was subsequently arrested and charged.
