Jamaica-based energy storage solutions provider, Tropical Battery Company Limited, has announced the incorporation of its newly formed American subsidiary, Tropical Battery USA, LLC.

This strategic move signifies Tropical Battery’s ambitious expansion plans into North American markets. Tropical Battery USA, LLC will serve as the key platform for the company’s foray into online marketplaces, starting with Amazon Inc.

Leveraging Amazon’s extensive reach, the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE)-listed Tropical Battery aims to introduce its top-quality products to millions of consumers across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

‘Monumental step for Tropical Battery

Managing director Alexander Melville hailed the move saying, “This is a monumental step for Tropical Battery as we venture into North America. With the establishment of Tropical Battery USA, LLC, we are positioning ourselves to harness the vast potential of online marketplaces like Amazon.”

“Our primary objective remains the same: to provide consumers with high-quality products they can trust. As we take this journey, we are enthusiastic about the growth opportunities and the value we can bring to new markets,” added the CEO.

This expansion move reflects Tropical battery’s vision to continually adapt, innovate, and expand in response to global market trends and demands. The company’s recent expansion into the Dominican Republic through the acquisition of Kaya Energy Group, has been cited as an example of such an expansion.
