Some lingering showers should affect sections of Jamaica today (November 18) as remnants of Potential Cyclone 22 drift further north away from the island.

The Jamaica Meteorological Service forecasts partly cloudy conditions for most areas island-wide, with isolated showers across eastern parishes.

Respectively, the maximum temperature anticipated for Kingston and Montego Bay is 32 degrees Celsius.

Though noting no expectations of development, experts from the US-based National Hurricane Center (NHC) say the remnants of Potential Cyclone 22, located just west of Haiti, will induce heavy rains across a large area of the Greater Antilles including southeaster Bahamas and the Turks and Caicos Islands.
