Tottenham Hotspur manager Igor Tudor has been handed more time at the helm after his side battled to a hard-fought 1–1 draw with Liverpool.

Tudor, who took over from Thomas Frank in mid-February on a short-term deal, had endured a nightmare start with four straight defeats, leaving his future hanging by a thread. But the performance against Liverpool, full of fight and resilience, earned him his first point in charge, and appears to have bought him a stay of execution.

Although Spurs remain just one point above the relegation zone, the energy and unity on display gave the club’s leadership enough reason to stick with the Croatian, at least for now.

Attention now turns to Tuesday’s Champions League round of 16 second leg, though that tie looks all but settled after a heavy 5–2 loss to Atlético Madrid in the first leg. Survival in the Premier League remains the clear priority.

That fight continues in what could be a defining clash against Nottingham Forest, who sit just one point behind Spurs in the standings. After recent losses to Arsenal, Fulham, Crystal Palace, and Atlético, the pressure had been building fast.

Now, with a glimpse of renewed belief inside the squad, Tudor has another chance to steer Tottenham away from danger in what is shaping up to be a tense run to the finish.
