Three men, including twin brothers, have been charged with housebreaking, larceny, and receiving stolen property in connection with the theft of motorcycles and All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) valued at over $20 million.
Charged are 28-year-old deliveryman Kevorne James and his twin brother, 28-year-old mechanic Keddon James, both of Morningside Drive, Montego Bay, St James, and 35-year-old Derrick Robinson, otherwise called ‘Biggs’, a chef of Dr Chang Boulevard, Norwood, also in St James.
According to the Montego Bay police, the men allegedly broke into a warehouse in Cousins Cove, Green Island, Hanover, on three separate occasions between June 23 and August 3. During those break-ins, several Missile-brand motorcycles and ATV bikes were reportedly stolen.
A police report was filed, and a list of the stolen vehicles—including their engine and chassis numbers—was submitted to investigators.
In August, all three suspects were arrested during a targeted police operation, during which the stolen motorcycles were recovered. The men were taken into custody.
Following interviews conducted in the presence of their attorneys, the three men were formally charged on September 1.
