The Major Organised Crime and Anti-Corruption Agency (MOCA) has charged a man and a woman in connection with suspected lottery scamming activities for breaches of the Law Reform (Fraudulent Transaction) (Special Provisions) Act.

They are 24-year-old Nickoy Pottinger of Mammee Bay, and 40-year-old Meleithia Green of Draxhall addresses in St Ann.

The two were reportedly found with lottery scam paraphernalia during a joint military operation between MOCA and members of the Counter Terrorism and Organised Crime Investigation Branch (CTOC) in St Ann last week.

They were formally charged on May 11 after an interview in the presence of their attorneys.
