Two Clarendon residents have been charged with illegal possession of firearm and ammunition

The Jamaica Constabulary Force has charged two residents of Top Hill district in Clarendon with the illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition.

Charged are 29-year-old Judian Whyte, a sales clerk, and 30-year-old Wayne Spencer, a construction worker.

According to reports, a team of police personnel, who were conducting search operations on Saturday (December 24), searched the home shared by the two and found a Taurus pistol with a magazine and 40 cartridges.

The two were subsequently arrested and charged with illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition.

Their court date has not yet been announced by the police.
