Twenty-one-year-old Omario Brown and Javel Brown died due to injuries they sustained Monday morning in a motor vehicle crash on the Three Mile River main road in Westmoreland.

They are members of a Strathbogie, Westmoreland family.

According to reports from the Frome police, the incident occurred around 1:40 am when Omario was driving a Toyota Axio with Javel as a passenger. Initial investigations suggest that Omario lost control of the vehicle, which veered off the road and crashed into an ackee tree.

Both police and firefighters responded to the scene, and firefighters had to extricate the men from the wrecked vehicle.

They were transported to the hospital, where they were pronounced dead on arrival.
