The Jamaica Constabulary Force’s Specialised Investigation Branch have arrested and charged eight individuals, including two foreign nationals for breaches of the Law Reform (Fraudulent Transaction) (Special Provisions) Act.

 The arrests were made in Glendevon, St. James, on Thursday, July 23, as part of the ongoing ‘Operation Sweepstakes’ initiative. Charged are:

1. Natalia Baker, 21, of Rochester, New York, USA.
2. Cruiz Amari Harding, 18, of Georgia, USA.
3. Chrislan Muschette, 19, of Glendevon, St. James.
4. Tiana Sloley, 27, of Glendevon, St. James.
5. Romario Cunningham, 29, of Glendevon, St. James.
6. Kemar Grant, 27, of Glendevon, St. James.
7. Geovanie Cunningham, 21, of Glendevon, St. James.
8. Romain Salmon, 22, of Glendevon, St. James.

Reports are that about 4:00 a.m., members of the Anti-Lottery Scam Unit, supported by members of the Specialised Operations Branch, searched several premises during which several lead sheets, debit cards, a high-end motor vehicle and cellular phones were seized.

Harding was charged with Possession of an Access Device, while the 

others were charged with Possession of Identity Information. Their court dates are being finalised.
