The police are reporting that a joint military operation led to the seizure of a 9mm Glock pistol and a magazine containing 16 9mm rounds of ammunition on Monday, December 4, along Wellington Street, Kingston 16.

Reports from the Franklyn Town police are that around 9:30 p.m., a team recovered the illegal firearm and ammunition in a transparent bag on the ceiling of an abandoned buildings during the search of a premises.

The police said two men who were present at the address were also taken into custody.

Their identities have not been revealed by the police.
